Man, this takes the proverbial cake. She has flipped, has gone completely wack - and is separated from Bill.
Why are people who really are in the know saying these things? Because Hilary went out without makeup on and was wearing her glasses.
I just read this in the rag, Globe. It is a really funny magazine but I hate to buy it because it so outrageously right-wing and I hate to support anybody like that.
They especially like to go after the Prez and his wife.
Is this what women have come to? If you appear in public without makeup and wearing glasses you have completely gone off the deep end?
Man, I belong in a mental hospital. I never wear make up unless I just have to. And I wear glasses.

(71 posts)a woman's primary value is her physical attractiveness to men, and this is the source of her social status among females. i mean, i can kind of "understand it" when men try to foist this garbage on women, but it is discouraging in the extreme when so many generations of women have been willing participants in their own objectification and devaluation. of course there may be reasons why women have limited ability to resist the prevailing social structure, but the reality is, that if women do not force the change, then who?

(18,868 posts)I wish women could just be themselves all of the time. Throw away the makeup. Wear glasses. Wear comfortable clothes. And not feel too ugly to go out of the house.
I don't see it changing anytime soon. And I think the trend is getting worse.
Now women (and some men) are spending thousnads and thousands of dollars to surgically make themselves over into a few favored looks. The actresses in Hollywood today look so much alike that I can't even tell them apart - blond, blue-eyed perfect features. Or the same only in darker skin and dark hair and perfect features.
It's so depressing.
