He seemed to put all the blame on the police commissioner but isnt Rahm his boss? Did Rahm also want the video suppressed for political reasons? Why is he getting a pass?

The Third Way, frankly, does not give a shit about right and wrong. I can't think of any other way to put that.
IMO it is sort of like how a sociopath thinks - no actual inner sense of right or wrong, just what can I get away with.

2. Rahm is supposed to fix the city problems, resigning would merely be him washing his hands of the problem.
Firing the police commissioner is the appropriate 1st step in fixing the massive problems with the Chicago police. Whining about Rahm is nothing more than politics which cannot fix problems. The question should be, what is Rahm's next step?
