Of course, all humans can ultimately trace their origins back to Africa with Homo Habilis ca. 2 million years ago.

Asians migrated to America and became Native Americans and, later, "Hispanics".
Other Africans migrated to Europe and become Europeans; later some "Europeans" migrated to America and became "true Americans" (in the eyes of teabaggers who want to take the country back from Africans and Hispanics).
The cartoon really strikes a great chord of truth.
