Marsha Blackburn's not happy....Tennesseans approve of Planned Parenthood

Marsha Blackburn bashes Vanderbilt on Planned Parenthood question

Tennesseans support the state funding many of the health care services provided by Planned Parenthood, even though the state doesn't do so, according to the latest edition of the Vanderbilt Poll.

The poll didn't specifically ask about the abortions provided by Planned Parenthood, though, and because it didn't, U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., accused the university of trying to advance a political agenda.

"I am disappointed that an institute such as Vanderbilt is publishing a poll that has such a thinly veiled agenda. Vanderbilt has a responsibility to educate women, men and children about access to quality health care," Blackburn said in a statement to The Tennessean.

"Our community health centers provide the services mentioned and many more important health care services, including dental, mental health care, and coordination of health care — many of those services are provided at no cost or low cost to Tennesseans. Vanderbilt missed an opportunity here."

The Vanderbilt Poll found at least two-thirds of the 512 people surveyed support the Tennessee state government giving Planned Parenthood funding for the following services:

Preventative care screenings, such as breast exams
HIV testing or counseling
Testing or treatment of other sexually transmitted diseases
Limited primary care, such as flu shots
Pregnancy testing
Pregnancy counseling
Birth control or contraception.

That The Crazy isn't more than 10% of the national populace and isn't something u can win elections with.

Let them nominate Trump. Let them get CRUSHED in the next 2 or 3 election cycles, let them lose the Majority to a Blue Congress. Maybe THEN the message to the loons will be Fuck You, you're not worth my Senate Seat, the Culture Wars are over, and u guys lost. Yes there will be rage and hair pulling and gnashing of teeth and weeping for 'murca, but it's just drama and the impotent rage of toddlers who have yet to figure out Sharing.

They need to be forced by the Adults in this country to go sit in the Democracy Corner and wear the Science Sad Hat for a while.
