'Murica!!! FUCK YEAH!!!

http://www.abc15.com/news/region-phoenix-metro/central-phoenix/fd-man-shot-at-arizona-state-fairgrounds-phoenix-police-investigating

PHOENIX - Phoenix Fire Department says a man has been taken to the hospital from the Arizona State Fairgrounds with a gunshot wound.

Witnesses say a man in his twenties was accidentally shot in the stomach. According to fire officials, he suffered serious injuries.

The Arizona Exposition and State Fair website says the Crossroads of the West Gun Show is taking place at the fairgrounds this weekend.

Signs outside of the exhibit hall say 'No Loaded Guns' allowed.

Police are looking into how the shooting occurred.

I would love to hear from one of them why this no loaded guns allowed rule should be followed. How can all of the delusional wannabe heroes and vigilantes lend a hand if they can't carry their loaded penile enhancers, I mean guns, at a gun show?

(what defines a gun nut?) frequently it is the venue that requires that there are no loaded weapons inside the building. I have not been to a gun show in many years.

If guns are going to be handled they should be unloaded.

Ccw is fine at some guns shows, but concealed means concealed. Leave it holstered, I dont care. If you want to sell it and let people look at it, unload it at home and bring it in empty.

Because gun nuts handle guns. Loaded ones. And people who carry concealed generally don't unload it at home and carry it empty.

So you are supporting the idea that those who sell at these things think the people they are selling to cannot be trusted to safely handle guns.

I dont ever hand somebody a loaded gun, except at a gun range, and tell them its loaded.

If my friend (ccw instructor and retired military) wanted to see my new ccw gun, I will unload it before giving it to him. Tge first thing he would do is check that its unlpaded, even if he saw me check it 10 seconds ago. I trust hin and he trust me, but when handling guns one should take every safety precaution.

It seems awfully hypocritical that gun sellers are so afraid of the dangers of loaded weapons and concealed carry guns that they ban them at a gun show, and yet I have no such safeguards when I go to Starbucks.

Here's a regulation for your Second Amendment militia: Your gun doesn't "accidentally" go off; it "negligently" goes off, and you're on the hook financially for any resulting injury or property damage. Just like when your car hits someone or something because you didn't maintain proper control of your vehicle.

While I wish the best for the victim, I must point out that if more guns keep us safer as the NRA would have us believe, then the USA must be the safest place on the planet because it has the most guns.

What????

Not SAFE, you say???

NO, say it ain't so!
