Edwards put move on gal, 25

NY Post:

GREENSBORO, NC — Horndog hubby John Edwards shamelessly hit on comely co-eds just months after his wife, Elizabeth, died of cancer.

Edwards, 58, who is on trial on charges of campaign-finance violations, flexed his trial-lawyer charm on pretty Andrea Love, 25, at the dive Bowbarr just outside of Chapel Hill, NC, last spring.
“He was all over her,’’ said a source at the bar.

...snip...

Love said Edwards tried to schmooze her by telling her he was looking forward to practicing law again — and wanted to represent the poor.

Well, it's not like he's married...

for the train ride home for the crossword puzzles (it was less expensive than the NY Times). Though Will Shortz does have some very good puzzles in the NY Times.

But I would like to think that if I were him, I wouldn't start out doing so by playing the creepy middle-aged man at the bar hitting on 20-somethings.

But that's just me

Does ANYONE believe he's going to go back to a quiet life practicing law and helping the poor? Only if the poor is a 25 year old babe in a bikini.

It's sleaze, but people like sleaze, even here. While we prefer sleaze about Republicans, we're humans too. The dude is a shyster and many people had him pegged on that long before he fell from grace. This is just exhibit number 100 that Edwards is a shifty character.

Who gives a shit if he asked for the girl's number and then didn't call!

What's the next headline for the Post: "Boring John Edwards spends Friday evening at home alone watching TV."

What a loser paper.

And Edwards is only 6 years younger than I am.

I walk into a party and there are three 30 something women chatting. They look up, they go back to their conversation and I feel like the wind blew the door open and shut. It was just me though.

Oh well.

Of course, I shouldn't feel that bad. I sent pictures of cute German tourists to a friend and his comment was: "That water is just gorgeous."
