I have been lobbying Homeland Security to take over the F of the ATF.

Glad you are on board.

My CCL over the internet, sell with no background check, legally buy from anyone without having to go though an FFL even across state lines. Buy and sell weapons on ebay?

The car ownership comparison not only often displays an abject lack of understanding of even high-school level civics and constitutional understanding (and other fields such as insurance), but these people appear to have never driven on a public road, because I'd rather bet my life with most legal firearm owners than a whole lot of fellow drivers (I'm from NYC).

However, feel free to continue to base your legal and policy decisions concerning enumerated rights on noted constitutional scholars and political scientists Alyssa Milano and Sara Juliana Benincasa.

That's what you mean by regulating guns like cars, right?

"you earn the right to own and drive a vehicle".

Not by a longshot.

If she can't even get that right, I don't want her or her supporters anywhere near public policy.

You know who sells such insurance? The NRA. (I have mine through my homeowner's policy.)

Additionally, you can't insure a criminal act. So e.g., if Nancy Lanza had a liability insurance policy, it wouldn't have paid out due to the criminal acts of her son.
