This Neo-Nazi Response To Donald Trump's Anti-Muslim Plan Says It All

Sounds like he has their vote.

"Heil Donald Trump - THE ULTIMATE SAVIOR."

That's what Andrew Anglin, publisher of the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer, had to say in response to Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump's call for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."

"Finally: someone speaks sense," Anglin wrote, pasting Trump's new proposal under the headline "Glorious Leader Calls For Complete Ban on All Moslems."

"Make America White Again!" his post concludes.

(Or basement dwellers as the case usually is). "The Daily Stormer" makes a second appearance (mention) on DU, but in a negative way this time. YEA!

And although he's learned to accurately imitate the substance of them, his personal style still reminds me more of Mussolini: more the broad, cynical bullying of the original fascist rather than Adolf's trademark hysterical screeching.

Still, his fan base seems to recognize and appreciate where he's coming from.

When I see the probable Republican candidate say these things to big applause, I think about how many times there have been in history when people waited too long to start burying books and running like hell.

What can be done? His supporters are hell-bent and immovable. Even 'liberal' media outlets are feeding the frenzy by giving him free airtime.

I see this as the logical and inevitable result of their "Southern strategy" of relying on racial and religious bigotry. Until now they've tried to phrase it euphemistically enough to keep some semi-plausible deniability, but Trump just comes out and says what he knows they really want to hear.
