They were IN POLAND. Nazis built the camps in Poland. Not that bad a mistake, but he was right to apologize for the accidental inference.

That is what I was thinking, but didn't see the incident.

The extermination camps were all in Poland, but there were plenty of concentration camps in Germany, plus one in Austria, two in Czecho-Slovakia and three in the Soviet Union.

The difference? Not much; if you went to the extermination camps and were marked for death you would be dead within the hour. If you went to a concentration camp you'd either starve to death, die of disease or be worked to death.

Saw my first Romney sticker in my pretty conservative area, finally. An elderly gentleman in a mini van who kept wandering out of his lane whenever he looked at something. Other than that, not one. Tons of Obama 2012 stickers.. and some McCain/Palins. lol.
