After doing dog rescue from the south for 5 years, nothing surprises me.

(I apologize to the good southerners here, I know there are northerners who do things like this, but I have seen horrendous things happen to animals mostly south of the Mason/Dixon line.)

I own two pugs, they're wonderful dogs...they're my girls, they're my family.

Not only is this a horribly cruel thing to do to an animal, someone who can do this is likely to step it up and do horrendous things to humans, as well. People who do these things have no conscience or empathy and are dangerous to all other beings they come in contact with.

It would serve his sadistic ass right. Anybody who could do this to a dog does not deserve to be called human.

"hate people" or tend to bunch everyone together I am not real happy with this guy, what a sick demented bastard. The COPS and the animal control people need to find whoever is responsible and lock him up before he steps it up a notch. The person involved is obviously mentally ill or he wouldn't have done this.

I read this this morning. I have been ill ever since. I couldn't stop sobbing, with my doggies trying to comfort me, not knowing what was wrong.

I cannot begin to imagine the suffering that poor dog endured. I can only imagine what his people are going through, and will remember for the rest of their lives.

And he wagged his tail every time she touched him....
