The last time I went there, some of their neo-lib know-nothings were trying to essay trade their justification of economically sodomizing the poor to David Cay Johnston (author of Perfectly Legal and Free Lunch). God, some of the batshit, fact-void things those idiots believe . . . that thread just got worse with each painful post. It was thoroughly embarrassing.

The DI jury system is used more and more to harass and eliminate liberal posters. DI is far more right-wing than it used to be, particularly as to racial and sexual issues. I'm very grateful to have DU back in place.

This past fall, I had five posts hidden in the span of 15 minutes. I was offline at the time. A crew of assholes alerted about twenty of my posts and managed to finally get the fifth hidden. The final post of mine committed the sin of saying (to a white guy), "Well, my boy..." . I was alerted because "boy" is racist.

It's only a little bit better here.

Why the admins want to be associated with bigoted, sexist, assholes is mind-boggling.
