My recollection is that lying is against one of the big ten that Perkins and his ilk want to inscribe on every wall and every rock that isn't moving on public land. As for Perkins and his exegesis of scripture, I disagree with his interpretation; I further disagree that those verses he and his pals are so fond of citing have anything to do with our modern understanding of human sexuality, and as such are wholly inapposite to the situation at hand. That being said, do Perkins and his buddies have anything else to base their bigotry on?

Rev Tony, try reading about the Church of Ephesus in the book of Revelation, they were all hot on rules and doctrine...short on the message.
