And I see him as the re-incarnation of Joe McCarthy.

I think he is evil. He reminds me of the Manchurian Candidate.

Plus he looks like a giant sewer rat with a lard ass.

Always have been more scared of him than Trump because he is even meaner and much smarter.

So earlier this evening I stopped at a local burger joint for a quick supper. They had a TV news program on with the sound off, and a chyron came up that said "TRUMP CALLS CRUZ A MANIAC." Old guy at the next table harrumphs, "Pot's callin' the kettle black."

I don't think either of them is actually insane in the medical sense of suffering from a psychosis, although a psychiatrist might diagnose various personality disorders. Trump, at least, is spectacularly narcissistic, and Cruz is said to be just a mean bastard. Both of them would be disastrous presidents - Trump, because he's a loose cannon who doesn't think he has to answer to anybody, and Cruz because he is a religious fanatic and a mean bastard. I can't really decide which one scares me more.

I agree about Cruz, but Huckabee is right there with Cruz! Cruz just scares me for all man kind! Each in their owns way are creepy.

His campaign manager just quit, not a good sign for the Huckster.

Christian Dominionists are a heretical brand of fundamentalist/literalist Christians that believe that Christians must infiltrate and take over in seven major cultural areas of modern western life in order to set up God's Kingdom on Earth: business, government, media, arts, entertainment and sports, education, the family and religion.

The guy was groomed to be a despot for God.

He is more dangerous than Trump by a factor of 100.

The Donald has no driving vision of The Way Things Ougt To Be beyond plastering his name everywhere and making hyoooj piles of money. And he has no infrastructure to back him up.

Cruz does have those things, so him gaining more power, either as president or as the guy the president owes big favors to, is very bad news for the country.

Trump is a loud mouthed con man with delusions of grandeur but Cruz is a seriously nasty piece of work with delusions of Godhood.
