http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/trump-audience-member-yells-nazi-salute-protester-removed-las-vegas-n480056A large middle aged man shouted, "Sieg heil!" a Nazi Germany-era salute as the protester was taken away.
"He's a Muslim!" another man in a glittering black suit shouted as another protester was removed. "He's a Muslim!"
Trump took the interruptions in stride and complained that they were the only way to get media outlets to turn their cameras towards his crowds to show off their size.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised at Sieg Heil, eh ?

(27,247 posts)Just to see if Trump is as wacky-- or even wackier-- in real life as comes across in the media.
I'll put it this way-- if Trump came to my hometown while I was there, and held a rally in the downtown park, I would go, out of curiosity. But I would want to be at the edge of the crowd so I could make a quick exit if his followers started talking like that.

(25,699 posts)...I was going to come up with two scenarios, then I realized it's building on a false premise. Trump ain't even got an ethical tendon in there.

(31,828 posts)Between this and "lighting someone on fire" we need to be aware that these people exist, they always have - just now Trump hs given them a platform.
The people who said nothing yet stood there and accepted both words/actions -
They are the truly dangerous ones.

(31,828 posts)Really -we didn't know foaming at the mouth bigots existed in America?
All they've been given is a national platform and no one is holding their feet to the fire.

(14,061 posts)Lawrence O'Donnell had a segment about a New England police union endorsing Trump. In the footage of Trump appearing at a rally of this group, a man was facing Trump with his arm stiffly held out and his hand in a fist. Clearly a salute. An unmistakable throwback to the Nazis.
The fist -- nice twist, that.
But what do we expect? Really?? Just like before...some of us see what's coming and others, well...don't.
