1. And we'd damned well better not take the general election for granted

I have several far-right, bigoted, low education relatives who have NEVER been involved in politics (not even involved enough to bother voting) who have become active Trump supporters. The extent of their past involvement was to bitch about whoever happened to be President at the moment. Trump is drawing new people into the voting booth, and we'd be damned fools if we take our victory next November for granted or don't bother to vote for the Democratic nominee if he/she isn't the one we supported in the primary.

"attracking"--it really sums up the republican base, they are attracted to people that attack them (economically). NIce one, still_one!

That anyway you look at it at least 50% of Republicans have become extremist enough to vote for such unbelievably inappropriate candidates to run our country.

I get the sense that some of its a poll-protest kind of thing as opposed to actual intent.

But their choices as a whole are terrible and they may be locking themselves into some truly dangerous individuals as their real choices.

the Democratic party soundly rejected him. That is not what is happening with the republicans in regard to Trump and Cruz.

Pretty scary stuff actually

That way they can serve up Paul Ryan, right? Which is why he took the Speaker job.

RepubliCONS give us nothing but creepy hitler style presidential candidates. They know most average people will never vote for these candidates off the refuge pile. But they are Not worried because they own the voting machines.

Get Democrats registered and get them to Absentee or to the polls come election day. Our great nation's history and our future are at stake.
