Pooper Scooper Trooper

I love Bloom County and the wit, humor and sarcasm of its creator , Berkeley Breathed ---

From his Tweet:
Greetings, arrested adolescent JediBloomers. As long as we're being happily sucked into this week's pop culture black hole... here ya go: Recently, the publisher of the Star Wars comic books requested a special "funny" promotional cover in honor of the coming movie. I cooly explained that LucasFilm would never, ever find anything I concocted funny. The comics guys found this idea absurd, nay, impossible -- a sweet gentle thought. Below is the instantly-rejected cover art...

Lucasfilms (Disney) asked Berkeley for some cover art - so he submitted the above image - which was turned down at warp-speed.

"parsec is about 3.25 light years, so covering one sixteenth of a parsec in thirty seconds equates to about 215,000 times lightspeed! On the official scale for TOS this would be almost warp factor 60, which is many times the Enterprise's stated top warp factor. It's also about equal to the Encyclopedias stated speed for subspace radio, which is TNG Warp Factor 9.9999."
