"49ers QB shares poignant anti-Donald Trump message on Instagram"

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick might be out of the game with a season-ending shoulder injury, but that doesn’t mean he’s staying out of the political game.

The quarterback posted a quote on Instagram with the phrase, “Food for thought.” The quote, which was attributed to retired Air Force Col. Tom Moe, said:

“You might not care if Donald Trump says Muslims must register with the government, because you’re not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump says he’s going to round up all the Hispanic immigrants, because you’re not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump says it’s OK to rough up black protesters, because you’re not one. And you might not care that Donald Trump wants to suppress journalists, because you’re not one.

“But think about this. If he keeps going and he actually becomes president, he might just get around to you, and you better hope that there’s someone left to help you.”

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me

Trump was born exceedingly wealthy and Brady is too much of a coward to play fair. Trump and Brady deserve each other discarded in the dustbin of history ate overrated hacks.

can't touch the receivers at all and because of Brady you can't even tackle them low, a finger hits the helmet and now it is a personal foul,

That is the point of football. You can hate an ENTIRE group of people for no good reason one day a week and it does not make you a bad person. A form of recreational bigotry with no real consequences. I like to get it all out safely and then go back to being a semi-sane and decent person the rest of the week.

Real hate requires effort. You should seethe with rage for months or years. None of this week to week nonsense.

Mine is just a vestigial hate. And the 49ers suck so bad now, that frankly, hating them isn't even fun any more. Like kicking a puppy.

My Dad explained about the 49ers to me waaaay back in the day... I asked, Daddy, aren't we supposed to like that red team because they are from SF? And he said NO we live in Oakland. We are Raiders fans.

And then I moved to NC and fell in love with a new team. And they drafted a brilliant, goofy, 6'5" QB, the great hope of a failing franchise. And his arch-nemesis was..... Colin Kaepernick. Same draft year, but Kaepernick was SO MAD that he got picked later than Cam and talked ALL the smack about Cam. So hating the 49ers has always been the natural choice for me

I am rooting for the panthers to go undefeated
I live in Monterey area Ron Rivera from Seaside, his family still lives out here, my son met his dad, both have physical therapy at same place,
so since my niners are languishing come playoff time I will root for the Panthers

I try not to think about the undefeated part too much. Don't want to jinx them.
