The Republican Party is in very bad shape.

We know better than to say it is the death knells. They always seem to come back.

Is it any different this time?

About 65% of their primary voters are deserting the establishment candidates and voting for the "outsiders". This does not bode well for a Party that wants to win national elections.

But, so long as they maintain control at the local and state levels, they can maintain power in the House and Senate. If these folks begin to desert them, then they will be in deep trouble.
