As a reminder, there's a GOP "debate" tonight, 6 p.m. ET on CNN (not sure if that's the time of their "coverage" starting or the actual debate - either way it's this evening).
First debate since Trump established himself as a Republican Extremist. Should be interesting to watch!
What should be tonight's drinking game? I haven't done a drinking game for decades (and aren't starting now either) but what would be the keyword(s)?
I vote for Trump calling people + leaders "stupid". But maybe it'll be "tough". Or, hell.... I don't know.
TIMING UPDATE: Kid's table @6:30 ET (6 is start of CNN coverage). "Big kids" table - main "debate" - at 8:30.
Trump is tweeting that he hopes he'll "be treated fairly". Yeah, like he treats whole religions.

(28,394 posts)That last one was so dreadful, I swore them off.
Actually, trump just stood there and said very little in previous debates. He seems to save the insults and inflammatory remarks for the rallies.

(11,093 posts)I think it's the "watching a car crash" mentality, but I don't think he can (or will be allowed to try to) keep his mouth shut on this one. He started too much of a firestorm.

Lots of butter on the popcorn, but NO drinking games!

(101,321 posts)Once they've established that they are still running, I guess the next question will be "why?" Does one of them think that Rubio could choose them as an 'experienced' running mate? Have they worked out that it's worth the effort and humiliation for book sales or other direct profits they could make? Do they just want a wider audience for "get off my lawn!!!!" than they could otherwise get?
