The petition to have Donald Trump as keynote speaker for the 2012 GOP convention. Enjoy.

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/donald-trump-as-the-keynote-speaker-for-the-2012/

Donald John Trump, Sr. is a remarkable businessman who is the epitome of the very free market that the Republican Party seeks to promote nationwide. His brief yet dynamic unannounced prospective presidential campaign in 2011 brought citizens of this country to the edge of their proverbial seats as they waited with baited breath whether or not he would announce his candidacy. As creator of the NBC reality show "The Apprentice", he has given all of America the opportunity to view some of the most beloved celebrities of all time in head-to-head competition, whether it be Steven Baldwin, Tom Green, Meat Loaf, Gary Busey, Jose Canseco and famed insult comic Lisa Lampanelli.

Perhaps the greatest contribution of which Mr. Trump has graced this country, however, is the undying dedication and zeal to which he has raised the question of the true birthplace of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama. His undoubted heroism in continuing to press forward this most critical question to our nation's future and prosperity, against all odds and criticism, serves as an example to us all in bravery and courage. In generations to come, none will forget Mr. Trump's persistence to bring the truth to light. It will be the thing to which monuments are built.

On August 27, 2012, the Republican Party will gather in Tampa, Florida in order to put forward their nominee to the American people (presumptively that being one Willard Mitt Romney, former Governor of Massachusetts and founder of Bain Capital). Before Governor Romney takes to the podium to accept the nomination, however, we must ensure that he be given the highest caliber of keynote speaker, one who is capable of elucidating the most important issues of the day to this country's people.

We, the undersigned, can think of no greater a keynote speaker than Donald Trump.

Therefore, we implore the Republican Party to immediately invite Mr. Trump to give the keynote address at the 2012 Republican Party convention. We demand that Mr. Trump be given an UNLIMITED amount of time to discuss the three most pressing issues facing this country: 1) the unfettered free market; 2) the truth or falsity of documentation concerning the location of birth of President Barack Hussein Obama; and 3) the announcement of the cast of the upcoming season of "Celebrity Apprentice Six", and whether or not such cast will include pint-sized actor Verne Troyer, also known as "Mini-Me" from the "Austin Powers" movies.

The fate of this country may very well depend on the Republican Party's acquiescence to our demands.

In your name, we most humbly beseech you.

Let the supernormoussness of T. Rump and his gigantic Twitter ring true across the land of the sorta-free and the homes of the Braves (and the homes of the Red Sox and the homes of the Giants and the homes of the Twins, too!).

And we will pray to Yahweh that he doesn't trip on his tie or that a malevolent zephyr doesn't unwrap his hairball in mid-speech! Amen!
