(10,450 posts)I think he'd rather eat a fish that a bear chewed on than deal with the Republicans.

(40,416 posts)No broadband either, or cable TV.
So I don't get to see it.
Whatever happened to President Obama's rural broadband initiative? I know that he could not have gotten it through the Senate even when he had the majority. But gees! I did not see that he even tried.
I love you President Obama, but you should have tried harder. Likewise on other infrastructure projects. Meanwhile, here we are, still using animal skins and bone knives. Well, at least I have heat and electricity. No paved roads, though. (That's okay. I live on a rural school bus route, so they keep them plowed in the winter and graded when there's no snow.)

(30,481 posts)About global warming. Enjoyed it a lot. Love the picture painted by them talking about that very section of glacier receding 800+ feet.

(51,076 posts)I missed the first 15 minutes but I got the rest. President O is one hell of a good man inside and out.
Are we not lucky to have him as the President during these last 6 years and damn near 11 months WOW

The glacier loss is so sad.

(46,436 posts)I've been to that glacier many times, and it's pretty scary what's happening to it and the others around here. Sad, really.
