A friend of mine in Madison, WI wrote this, I mean, just how bad is it getting?

I mean, "White Christmas," racist?
The white is describing snow, for crying out loud!

I was somewhat stunned hearing on a local radio station was requested by those with the serious need for social safety protection. Seems a certain song was deemed....racist. Therefor not to be played on the air.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas, sung by Bing Crosby, deemed racist cause it wishes for a white Christmas...not a Christmas of color apparently...afterall, snow falls in a variety of colors I suppose

It got me thinking, what other songs the PC crybabies want or would removed from the airwaves if it were up to them?

12 Days of Christmas: PETA would go batshit at the exploit of various birds, plus Unionistas would throw a fit over the 8 maids a milking not being unionised.

Silver and Gold, the Burl Ives classic from Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer: Clearly a 1%er song, cause Yukon Sam wants to strike it rich with gold and silver, even though Sam the snowman ment tinsel, and Gold and silver is a capitalist thing.

Frosty the Snowman: Cause a cop yells at Frosty, #Iced lives Matter!!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer: Making fun of those disabled and again, PETA going batshit at the exploit of reindeer.

Santa Claus is coming to town: He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake, Santa is NSA, therefor evil. Plus not pouting or crying is against the Social justice mantra of throwing a major fit when they don't get things their way.

Its beginning to look alot like Christmas: Clearly a pro gun song, "A Pair of boots and a pistol that shoots", can't have guns now can we?

Obvious satire, but all too close to the truth. Stinky The Clown Dec 2015 #2

I sing it all the time, year 'round, pretty much. Who gives a shit what a handful of listeners to some radio station say? Certainly not me.

I can find a piece on Yahoo Answers from a year ago discussing this topic, but nothing else, and this is exactly the kind of nonsense that the right wing loves to put out there.

It sounds just like a right wing smear. I'm sure Rush has been all over this.

The country is over saturated and this doesn't help Democratic Party at all.

are milking long before the Milk Maid's Union would form. Over a century before. The words have altered not only over time but from place to place. A good example of how antique the lyric is can be seen in the fact that while we now sing 'my true love gave to me' it originally said 'my true love sent to me' because it is a courting song from a chaste time.
