After a harrowing day, kudos to the Seattle police, for a job well done.

The department has been having problems with well-deserved criticism for abusive behavior.

But today it seems they did everything right.

After a multiple shooting at a Cafe in North Seattle, followed by a carjacking and a murder downtown, they quickly got out a still photo from surveillance cameras at the Cafe, and scoured two neighborhoods looking for him. When officers approached him in West Seattle, he shot himself in the head.
