Yes, I know the SCOTUS installed him which makes it "legal", but we all know that was a BS decision.

That's where the Underground part comes from.

The current pattern in play is actually quite subtle. Even die-hard lefties are getting confused by it.

Many left-wingers vote purely fron the heart. Unfortunately the value of doing so is now rather difficult to establish.

Where the "underground" is as important as the "Democratic"

Cause that's not the case on DU, hasn't been for some time.

Manny (and several other longtime DU members who happened to be outspoken and popular Sanders' supporters) being banned while Hillary supporters are given free rein has made the biases perfectly clear.

And I'll say it: I have no intention of voting for Hillary. I actually was open to it, but no longer. I can't enable this broken system any longer. I also will say I live in a deep blue state and my vote in the general will not be decisive. I would not encourage others to make the same choice, particularly if you are in a state that is even remotely up for grabs, but many of us are actually in positions where we can vote our conscience for President in the General without doing any harm, and if it crosses a line to say so, so be it.

If this ends up being my last post here, So Long and Thanks for All the Fish.

It's hard to punch the buttons when your hands are full.

I've always said that I vote D because there is no viable socialist option but it's getting harder and harder to make that choice with every election.

Because people sit on their ass and won't vote because they want to teach the democrats a lesson. Anyone that thinks letting one of the idiots in the GOP clown care take the WH because "their" idol is not the nominee needs their head examined. Sure I want my guy to win because I think he will do the best job, but I will still vote for Bernie if he wins the nomination, and I will vote for Hilary is she wins. It's not rocket science here. Our 3 candidates are better on their worst day than the whole clown car combined.

Those who come on here and try and promote NOT voting for the nominee are breaking the rules, and are showing that their agenda is not the same as the owners of this board. The right wing talking points I see here everyday about Clinton should make any real liberal, progressive or democrat sick to their stomach. Those who got banned knew that, yet they tried to game the system because they have a huge following and felt they were untouchable. Well they were wrong.

Sun Dec 20, 2015, 01:23 PM

was the catalyst for that. Now we've had the Presidency for 8 years almost. And the TOS hasn't changed, has it? It was thought in 2000 that the Democrats were underground. We turned that around. So this complaint seems silly. It's never been site for anarchists or whoever wants to actually overthrow the government.
