(1,967 posts)if he is the nominee, Skinner can read your mind that you are not serious, but Manny who has only done this once,Skinner can read his mind that he is and that is why you are still here and he is banned.

(2,101 posts)Anyone enlisting in the military is asked, have ever thought about suicide?
It is hard to believe that hundreds of thousands of young adults answer that question with a "no". Should they be discharged?

(92,219 posts)I will make it simple. it means you agree to the Terms of Service of that site. If you don't agree to those terms then you don't join the site
This has NOTHING to do with a loyalty oath
No one forces you to be a user on a site, but if you want to be a user, then you agree to the TOS, otherwise you don't become a user.
This really isn't rocket science

(45,319 posts)Bernie if he is the nominee and they spend lots of time asserting reasons not to. One of them did the exact same thing in 08, 'I would die before I vote for that fake Barrrack, he can't win, he's not a Democrat, waste of a nomination, won't do it' and that person is posting the same material aimed at Bernie.
So I love the rules, but only if they are justly and equally enforced.

(92,219 posts)If you are noting an unfairness in something specific then you should PM the admins and state your grievance. If you want it public go to AskTheAdmins if you believe things aren't being dealt with fairly.

Who should we ban? Republicans. That's it. The admins and the newbies have begun eating their own.

And then I clicked on DU and immediately got called to jury... and the hilarity began.

(72,790 posts)You are a better person than I for serving on Jury.
I could never. I would just laugh at everyone. Although I did alert today for the first time in a year? Years? My alert was denied.

(68,918 posts)I have attempted to alert on things that are against SOP, but the hosts these days are too busy fighting for their candidates I guess.

No biggie. It's really not a big deal to me. I was just experimenting.

(154,021 posts)since the primaries are not over. For the record, this surprises me in the least. I have been here since Moses and I expect that ban myself over the most flimsy of excuse.
And I suppose that will be the extent of what I say about it.

Sending nasty PM's while on timeout should be out but isn't in some cases.
davidpdx
(22,000 posts)They may get a timeout if they get too many hides from juries, but that is temporary.
There is one person in particular who likes to invade people's space by sending PMs. They've been alerted on and to my knowledge ther has been no consequence of their action.

(4,261 posts)The admins made the rules, they get to enforce them. Whether you believe that's appropriate or just does not matter two hoots.
I will miss Manny, but "No one reads the TOS" won't bring him back.
