Wisconsin state legislator encourages vigilante shootings... I kid you not

http://www.citizenactionwi.org/wisconsin_state_legislator

Today, Wisconsin State Representative Bob Gannon shockingly and dangerously encouraged vigilante shootings since Wisconsin does not allow the death penalty. In a media statement GOP Rep. Gannon said, “Wisconsin does not have a death penalty law, but with significant practice and careful aim, law abiding citizens can help clean our society of these scum bags.”

State Rep. Chris Taylor was quick to respond to the disturbing comments saying, "I am appalled by the dangerous rhetoric Representative Gannon chose to use in his press release. The incident at East Towne Mall was scary, but the answer is not to add more people with guns to the mix, and certainly not to call for private citizens to ‘shoot center mass.’ Representative Gannon is living in a James Bond dream world. If more guns made us safer, we would be the safest country in the world."

You can contact Rep. Gannon to express your opinions on his comments at Rep.Gannon@legis.wisconsin.gov or call (888) 534-0058.

they do have life without parole for murder. So if those vigilante wannabes decide to execute those whom they regard to be scumbags, I hope they don't mind spending the rest of their lives as permanent guests of the state. I understand the accommodations are rather basic and the roommates unfriendly.

She was in there at the beginning when the stuff started hitting the fan at the capital when Walker first reared his head.

but the way the state representative has phrased things, just does not seem right.

If I had a permit to carry, and was confronted with a gunman who was pointing his weapon at me or my family, I hope I would be able to react in time to stop the threat, but the death of the gunman would not be my goal. Stopping the threat would be the goal.

Taylor just seems to be repeating accepted LE policy on shooting 'gang' suspects.
