Am I surprised that Fox News is now running BLATANT propoganda pieces against the President? No.

However, am I thoroughly and utterly disgusted by it? Absolutely yes.

Not a single positive accomplishment mentioned in there. Not a single one. Nada. Despite our exit from a recession (that resulted during a Republican presidency), the end of war in Iraq, improving unemployment figures, etc., they'd have you believe there is nothing positive that happened over the past 3 years.

Heck, they love the idea of killing scary Muslims, so you'd think they'd at least give him props on Bin Laden. But nope.

The video, if you can stomach it, is in the link and story:

Fox & Friends" aired a nearly-four-minute video about President Barack Obama on Wednesday, drawing the ire of critics who say it looked, felt and sounded like a political attack ad.

"We decided to take a look back at the president's first term to see if it lived up to hope and change," co-host Gretchen Carlson said while introducing the video.

The video, produced by Fox News associate producer Chris White, attacks Obama's record on job creation and the unemployment rate--and includes a dramatic, "Star Wars"-esque soundtrack. It aired twice on Wednesday's show.

"The package that aired on 'Fox & Friends' was created by an associate producer and was not authorized at the senior executive level of the network," Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming at Fox News, said in a statement to Yahoo News. "This has been addressed with the show's producers."

and they have MOST of the power.

They want it all and they will pool their money to win the presidency. They are going to throw a $1B elect rmoney party. How are we going to compete?

Should they win the presidency, they will complete what gwb started and complete the evisceration of the social safety net.

Then they have it all. Unregulated capitalism. Dog eat dog for us and everything for them.

This display by fox isn't going to sway Obama's chances. People who watch fox don't support Obama anyway. This display was a power display. They spread their peacock feathers for all the world to see. They can afford to do this. They got the money. They got the power. And they want more of it.

When the channel started they use to pretend to be balanced and had a few neutral news shows. Now that they have such a large audience and so many liberals have figured out what it is, they don't seem to care to pretend. But the channel has always been propoganda for the right wing. Given what the owner had done in other countries prior to coming to the US it should be no shock how crappy his influence on the media would be.
