Affluenza? Give me a break. What a crock.

As a great number of Americans are suffering from real, crushing situations that involve serious issues like lack of money, lack of education, lack of housing, poor health, are we to feel sorry for this kid who has too much money to know right from wrong?
What lawyer thought up this defense, what idiot judge fell for it?
I have no sympathy for this young man. Too much money, too much privilege?

If we have no money to pay our bills, to house ourselves, get healthcare, should the legal system give us a pass?
How about brokefluenza, sickfluenza, on-the-streetfluenza.

You may not agree but I feel that too much money is no excuse.

Heck, Affluenza isn't even in the dictionary.

of a system that is badly broken, filled with assholes like the judge who allowed this.

But yes, I agree with you that this is disgusting.

I am serious about the lawyer, NEVER criticize a criminal defense attorney no matter what they do because someday they may be doing it for you.

Otherwise the defendant could have cause for an appeal.
