I rarely watch an entire hour of either show anymore. But you are right. Those are the two remaining worthwhile shows on during prime-time. They have even ruined Chris Hayes with all the trump coverage.

My guess is that their liberal viewers have fled in disgust. Who else watches them? We watched because we loved KO, Ed, and even enjoyed Al Sharpton. Their new emphasis was supposed to be on "hard news".... if all that trump coverage is what they consider "news"? I really don't know!

Ed was a Rush wannabe and borderline idiot but redeemed himself a bit when the TPP came along.

He used the TPP to create more interest in himself, but he also opposed it for the right reasons.

I should be watching AJ and DN, but I am too lazy.

As you know, I believe Trump is doing reality TV/campaign.

He will become more and more outrageous, and MSNBC and others know this.

So they will cover him like he is big news, because he will be.

That was my comment when I first heard about that press conference. I've ever seen a candidate be that good at getting attention! The press always responds when someone says "press conference", not only for Trump, but almost anyone. I think it's good that he get this kind of exposure. I does more to show just who & what he is. Running a country isn't one of his talents!
