Short Comcast rant

We are paying a lot every month for cable and yet they want to get more money out of us by trying to catch up on shows On Demand. Much of the stuff On Demand costs money. I don't remember a time when trying to catch up on shows cost money. Downtown Abbey, Walking Dead...Ugh!

seasons costs money. They're not getting more money from us. I refuse to pay more than what we're already paying. As a service, they should allow us to watch shows to catch up without the extra charges.

10. I'm paying $60 for the privilege of Internet and a 1/2 dozen channels. What a BS monopoly.

I called them to see if they would do better a few days ago. Their response... We'll give you a few more channels if I pay more. No thanks, I'm trying to save money.

I wish there was a cheaper way to get online access at home!

It costs money. In this case, you snooze, you lose. It shouldn't be this way, for the amount of money Comcast charges.

However, I like their internet service, it's much faster than DSL. I also prefer their TV lineup to that of DirectTv, but that may have to change soon. I think we'll need to downgrade both the TVineup and internet speed in order to save about $100/month.

Our part of Oregon Comcast had a monopoly. Now there are many more choices & I cut the cable 3 years ago-loving it!

Then-through another provider-get a internet / phone deal-I pay $65.00 a month and a family of 4 streaming fine through Frontier.

If you look-there are a lot of streaming sites you can watch cable news & other shows free. Add a Netflix & Hulu subscription & you will NEVER miss Comcast...

Cheers & DO IT-Comcast is corporate fascism personified.
