I swear, I hadn't seen this thread.

I am disabled and usually get my SSDI payment on the 3rd of the month. If the 3rd falls on a weekend, we get our check on Friday, either the 1st or 2nd. If the 3rd is a Holiday, we get our checks on the 2nd. This month, the 1st was on a Holiday & the 3rd on the weekend, so we received our checks on the 31st. I have NEVER gotten a late check since I became disabled.

Does anyone know anything about this?

but I think it may be a little staggered now. If I recall correctly, my brother got his Social Security on a different date.

gets his Union Pension & Social Security Check on the 1st, but mymother doesn't get her S.S. check until either the 23rd or 28th, I'm not sure.

I have a friend who moved down here from New York, and he gets a check every 2 weeks. I guess it all depends on the Government, but I have never gotten a check late since I was approved.
