Obama vetoes legislative bid to dismantle signature health care law

WASHINGTON

U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday vetoed legislation passed by the Republican-controlled U.S. Congress that would have dismantled his signature health care law, the Affordable Care Act.

"Republicans in the Congress have attempted to repeal or undermine the Affordable Care Act over 50 times," Obama said in a letter to lawmakers, notifying them of the veto.

start voting on whether we have health insurance. Also, how many male members are voting to defund Planned Parenthood? Also, they want to defund PP and this is a resource of birth control and it assists those who can not afford birth control and can not afford another child. I would think these same GOP members would be very happy to have PP providing birth control to prevent more needs in the social net.
