Barrett focuses on probe of Walker aides in final recall debateMilwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett stayed on the offensive Thursday in his second and final debate with Gov. Scott Walker, focusing on an ongoing secret investigation of Walker aides and divisions within the state since Walker was sworn in 17 months ago.
The GOP governor spent much of his time touting his record, but also delivered jabs at his Democratic rival.
The sharpest exchange came when Barrett focused on the John Doe probe of Walker aides and the governor called on Barrett to release police reports after a Journal Sentinel investigation found hundreds of serious crimes misclassified as lesser offenses.
"I have a police department that arrests felons," Barrett said. "He has a practice of hiring them."

(9,124 posts)This is the first time I've done a google search for Barrett... it's always been Scott Walker when hunting for info for posts. It's telling.
Also, Barrett's face is a trustworthy well worn Wisconsin face.
I think people will be surprised come Wed.

(9,124 posts)and the prevaricator did a good job staying on point and talking about his children and other relatives in the crowd.
But Barrett stayed on him and came out very aggressively for his persona.
I heard CNN was running the full debate and you can catch it on cspan.
