Rest assured, Paul. Obama is not a dumbass like Reagan. This time, getting the five U.S. citizens released DID NOT involve secretly selling the Iranians shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles.

For months the neo-con chickenhawks have been throwing a hissy fit over Obama's nuclear nonproliferation treaty with Iran. (Who can blame them? Obama prevented us from getting into yet another ridiculous war, which was really what they were after. That way they could say "look! There is no difference between Republicans and Democrats when it comes to getting us into foolish wars, so you may as well vote for the party that can force feed you the most apple pies, and that's US!&quot But it was their job to make it look bad somehow. So, for months they've been blathering about how this was a bad deal because it didn't include four U.S. prisoners that Iran was holding.

Well...Iran just released them.

Republicans were caught flat footed and gobsmacked. So far the only one to respond (indirectly) has been Paul "Eddie Munster" Ryan.

Well, rest easy, Paul. Obama is not a dumbass like Reagan, and this time freeing U.S. hostages did NOT involve selling arms to Iran via that imbecile Oliver North.
