During her last debate when Carly Fiorina was asked about her qualifications for president her answer came off as a bit odd. She said that she had been "Blessed by the opportunity to do a lot of things with her life." The strangest thing came next: "And unlike another woman in this race, I actually love spending time with my husband." Huh? Obviously this was just an attempt to bring up the Monica Lewinsky scandal, but what an odd way to do it. After the debate she was interviewed by Chris Matthews. He asked her "Do you think Bill and Hillary Clinton have a real marriage?" Her response was "They've been married for a long time." He repeated the question and she said again "They've been married for a long time." This one angered me. If your going to stoop so low as to attack an opponents marriage, then be prepared to answer questions about it. In a later interview with MSNBC she said when asked that if her husband had done the things President Clinton had done she "Would have left him long ago."

(63,221 posts)This woman has absolutely nothing going for her except an unwarranted self-confidence that makes her think she has anything to offer this country in the first place.

(16,254 posts)She isn't able to make a decent comment without putting someone down. I keep thinking of the Wicked Witch of the West whenever I see photos of her speaking. Shudder.

(4,532 posts)Its an attempt to mask her stupidity. She disgusts me. She refuses to answer questions without making some kind of ridiculous smart ass comment (i.e. "They've been married for a long time." I also don't understand why the fact that Hillary is the other woman running means that her marriage is the only one that needs to be looked into.
