Wasillas wailing prophet descended onto Iowa on Tuesday to endorse Donald Trump. The politics of Sarah Palins decision to back the billionaireand not her old pal Ted Cruzhas been much dissected. But what struck this blogger was the virtuoso nature of her speech, a performance that seemed more like a free-verse poetry slam than anything resembling a politicians prepared remarks.
Palin began by saying that she and her husband, Todd, were just thawing out in Iowa. And boy, did she warm up. Below, the most fire bars from Palins nearly 20-minute ode to Trump.
