The art of not giving a fuck

Article gives advice about what -and what you shouldn't - give a fuck about:

"...one day, much later (in our lives) , we wake up and we’re old. And along with our gum lines and our sex drive, our ability to give a fuck has receded to the point of non-existence. In the twilight of our days, we carry out a paradoxical existence where we no longer have the energy to give a fuck about the big things in life, and instead we must dedicate the few fucks we have left to the simple and mundane yet increasingly difficult aspects of our lives: where to eat lunch, doctors appointments for our creaky joints, 30-cent discounts at the supermarket, and driving without drifting to sleep and killing a parking lot full of orphans. You know, practical concerns.

I finished it in 2 minutes, because it took less time than that to get the gist of it and then I skimmed the rest... I didn't really give much of a fuck about it.

They love to find things to faux rage about and our corporate media is more than happy to keep them busy.

Celebrities, athletics or whatever the poutrage du jour may be, from the war on Christmas to the damn kids twerking on our lawns. Anything to keep the deluded masses from understanding just how badly they and their benefactors are ripping them off and just how much they have willingly benefited them in those endeavors through personal labor and investments.

Nobody wants to hear how much they fucked things up. Only that they are precious snowflakes who deserve the best. Even the reality of climate change hasn't gotten to them. There can be no doubt. Corporations will stop at nothing, even the end of it all, to return a profit to a shareholder. Nobody in our short history could have given no less of a fuck than that.
