I hear you, brother. I buried it all for 16 years. Tried to talk about it to my wife one time. She was a nurse and we'd been to a party for UCLA medical staff. At the party I heard a laugh box. I was with a friend on Christmas Day in Vietnam when he got a package from home with a laugh box. He got blown away a month later. i grabbed my wife and left the party and tried to tell her about it at home later. But she was a critical care nurse who dealt with death and dying every day and she didn't get it. So I bottled it back up. Ironically, she'd also gone through psych training in nursing school and she never had a clue what was going on with me.

You'll know exactly what I mean when I say I can't believe I'm still here. We're survivors, brother.
