(WI) Parties react to Rep. Ribble not seeking re-election

http://wbay.com/2016/01/31/parties-react-to-rep-ribble-not-seeking-re-election/

"Republicans and Democrats are reacting to Congressman Reid Ribble’s decision to not seek re-election in November.
Ribble made the announcement Saturday night, saying that he wants to return to the private sector and spend more time with his family. The Republican has been serving Wisconsin’s 8th District, which covers Northeast Wisconsin, since 2011.

“I don’t think it’s any surprise that Reid Ribble doesn’t really want to come and face the voters in 2016. I think that his retirement is an opportunity for Democrats and anyone who wants a Congress person who can help bring some common sense to Speaker Ryan’s House of Representatives,” said Brandon Weathersby, of the Democratic Part of Wisconsin."

Buh-Bye to another Turd.

Romney (with a Wisconsite running mate) carried the district by 51%-48%. Retirement of an incumbent Republican, to create an open seat, is good news for us.
