1. We cant win, it is a lose lose no matter what we do, including if we do nothing.
2. Of course the blame goes to W and Cheney for this absolute nightmare, but in 2010 the Obama administration decision to stick with Maliki was problematic, to say the least.

(46,436 posts)I was just going to inquire if anyone else had watched. It was very, very informative and sobering and definitely placed the blame for the rise of DAESH squarely where it belongs. My heart breaks, especially for the mothers and children displaced by all of this. To me it seems like the Kurds are the only "good guy" fighters over there.

Isis, Kurds, Crimea, Ukraine, Syria, Israel, Africa, Mexico, etc

(1,134 posts)I've been following Vice News for awhile now. They seem to have been slacking on their stories though. They used to have really good stuff every week, but they've seemed to cut back a lot.
