So......what about the Senate?

Amidst all this presidential chatter, I feel like once again we're putting waaaaaaaay more emphasis on that than in the area that is just as important. I know at this point the house is a momentary lost cause.

But if we have the Senate, and we have enough Dems that do their jobs and act like Democrats in the Senate then that is a firewall against the most egregious things any president would do. No right wing supreme court nominee would or should get through a Democratically controlled Senate (and as we've been told again and again the past 8 years, by that I mean anything more than 41 democratic Senators).

So where do we stand? How many seats are in play and how many do we even stand a chance of winning.

One of our biggest issues is we spend so damn much time worrying about who our next president is going to be and not nearly enough fostering and growing a strong, competent, and solidly progressive back bench.

no GOP candidate should go unchallenged in House or Senate...with prospects of a GOP meltdown with their presidential nominee choices....democrats/progressive/liberals can take HUGE advantage of the situation....

the senate....they have have more seats to defend that can be won by democrats. There is an outside chance of winning the House back too....depends on getting people off their asses to vote.

4. No chance on the house due to the Gerrymandering. Small chance on the senate. Do your homework.
