(5,621 posts)and campaigning for a vote. Apparently Hillary can only kiss the rich's ass, but refuses to campaign for people to WANT to vote for her. Politicians aren't owed votes, they have to earn them.

(19,841 posts)My point is that if someone can't in good conscience vote for a presidential ticket, don't use that as an excuse to stay home from the polls. Show up and undervote. Somewhere down ballot is someone running for another office who you can live with voting for. If we don't vote, we don't matter and we just perpetuate the problem.

(5,621 posts)that is an insult to Bernie supporters, as you should well know. Many here will not vote for Hillary, but will vote down ticket, and they have already stated as such. The trouble with Hillary as the nominee is that those who aren't regular voters and only came to the political process because of Bernie, may very well stay home. Insulting them about a purity test won't make them want to vote down ticket, it will just make it more obvious that they aren't welcome in the election process.
