As a veteran, I support full prosecution of the leadership that fostered this abusive environment and shielded the guilty parties from justice.

most of today's public in the ISIS era, and how do you think they'd respond to this news?

I'm afraid a large percentage are now of the "whatever it takes (whether it's effective or not)" mindset.

we're so far down the slope toward a completely authoritarian surveillance/enhanced interrogation state that I don't see much of a way back to the good old days of Richard Helms, etal.
