The Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge near Cheney announced on their website Friday that they would be closing in response to the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon ...
The statement .. urges visitors to check back for updates.
Turnbull .. is usually open year-round during daylight hours.
All other wildlife refuges in Washington appear to be operating normally.
