The Progressive Wing fully understands that these wars are intended to move money from the lower classes to the Wealthy 1%.

The Conservative Wing also recognizes this fact but like it.

He has sworn to defeat ISIS. Like Clinton, he supports a coalition based approach where the US does not commit ground troops. Unlike Clinton, he has suggested long term enemies Saudi Arabia and Iran join forces to fight ISIS on our behalf. The statement is problematic for what it reveals about his knowledge of the region. But even putting that aside: A war doesn't cease to take place because the US fights it by proxy rather than directly. The Cold War was filled with proxy wars.
