... a Grant County commission meeting drew dozens of people Wednesday some crying and others shouting -- to weigh in on a resolution calling for an end to the armed militant occupation almost 100 miles away ...
The resolution calls for an end the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Harney County and would signal to protesters that they're not welcome in Grant County. The commission's three members indicated they support the decree, but delayed a vote until next week, pending some minor changes to the language ...
"The militant occupation in Harney county was illegal, unethical, socially inappropriate and tore the community apart," said former judge Mark Webb, who came to testify. "The effort on the part of Sheriff Palmer to support that professionally unacceptable, arguably illegal. None of this should come here" ...
The commission will take up the resolution again next week, with some changes proposed by people who testified, including adding the word "illegal" before the word "occupation."

(10,749 posts)They have instilled uncertain and fear about where the next instruction will be, and if it will be the one where people I'll be killed. Look, I'd be happy with conviction on the one count that's been brought, but the crimes are far worse than that one count.

(28,347 posts)I bet it's a doozy, & once they review all their videos & process the refuge there will be more.
I hope they file RICO charges, or whatever they can use to put them all under one umbrella.
I'm listening to the refuge's live feed now & the last four are ridiculous. "We've done nothing wrong!"
