received, was hoping for another general thread instead of so many separate ones. There was only 1 attempt I am aware of for the general thread at the beginning of the week. So not waiting any longer.
Thank you for the hearts. It is nice to know you are loved and appreciated by someone. It made our hearts be warmed. Hope we can return to someone else before this special DU annual event ends.
My edit it for removing just. Hearts received deserve more than "just". They do mean so much to recipients and they are too nice to give. Tks again for those we have received.
The DU community we know and love is pretty special, even during these decisive primary battles!!

(12,629 posts)Thank you to my anonymous donor. It might seem like a small thing, but it does wonders for one's mood. You just never know what kind of day the recipient has had.
Thank you.

(5,128 posts)say thank you but did not want to start a thread. I hope this gives space for all those that were feeling like us.
Did not want to bring attention but had to say thank you.

(2,434 posts)It has been fun deciding to whom to give hearts - those whose texts I appreciated or those who are new and need the love. What great fun. Thanks DU!!
P.S. (I say "oddly" because that is not the reason I come here, but a good sideline)

So much easier to have in one place. Just my humble opinion, though.

So much easier to keep up with and for all the love to be shared in one common thread or two.

Amazed to get our 1st one and then a 2nd came along.
Crazy how something so small can make such a difference. An anonymous little heart on DU.. . . .

(8,380 posts)It's always fun as I'm reading threads to give hearts to those who don't have them. I think it would feel very lonely to see people with a ton of them, only to look down on your own post to see none.
