However, best information suggests that people are immune after infection with the disease, that most cases are very mild, and that it poses a threat only to pregnant women. Once there is a large enough pool of immune people, the virus will become rarer. It will be a very tough few years for women of childbearing age until that happens.

This disease has been such a mild one that it hasn't been thoroughly studied. There is a chance it has mutated. I hope it hasn't.
