The birthplace of dirty politics.
It is a cage match. No holds barred.
Several of the GOPeas were at Bob Jones University for a conference. Those people are batshit crazy. Think of the wildest RW evangelical you know about and multiply it by a million. That's BJU.
The BJUers used to come over to my campus and try to save us. We had BJU alerts.
Things are so 'interesting' here that the Charleston paper printed a form for people to use to report any unusual happenings they were aware of. I thought, "Who has time?'.
W will be here to campaign for Jeb.
Marco broke a tooth on a Twix bar and somehow found it necessary to tell people that. He seems to be using it as a badge of honor.
Carson went to Gaffney which is where 'House of Cards' is set. Gaffney is known for the giant peach water tank. I lived there one summer. What a thrill.
Nikki Haley hasn't endorsed anybody. She trashed Trump a couple of weeks ago. She has to be busy figuring out what to do to enhance her chances for a possible job with some candidate if they are elected.(gawd help us)
Kasich tried to compliment the Clemson football team by saying he got Ohio State to hold back. Thus he implied that OSU quit for him and Clemson could not have beaten them. He pissed off two groups of people.
Trump is in trouble with some voters because of his language. Go figure. I don't know how many but they are offended.
If you hurry, I bet you could raise brazillions of dollars with a gofundme account to build a wall around SC and trap all of them here. We would sacrifice ourselves for the greater good.
Frank Underwood has set up a headquarters here. He might win both primaries with write-in votes.
Reporting from the heart of darkness.

(6,440 posts)I have seen a couple of pro-Carson messages from SC friends that I keep in touch with via Facebook. I was wondering how typical that was.

(24,577 posts)did a number on SC in WAPO. She even quoted James Petigru: South Carolina is too small for a republic and too large for an insane asylum.
You have my sincere condolences for enduring the hoards of even-crazier-than-natives camping out there. At least here we can turn off GDP, you have to live with it.

No need to sacrifice, I have connections. Are you afraid of being airlifted?
I might add. If you do not have DVR, get it now. It is worth the few dollars to skip The Cruz/Rubio/Jeb! ads. After the primaries, you can cancel it.
