Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries.

Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac, and The elderly are useless eaters.
Henry Kissinger
(Soldiers are) dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy.

My countrys history, Mr. President, tells us that it is possible to fashion unity while cherishing diversity, that common action is possible despite the variety of races, interests, and beliefs we see here in this chamber. Progress and peace and justice are attainable. So we say to all peoples and governments: Let us fashion together a new world order.
Henry Kissinger, in address before the General Assembly of the United Nations, October 1975)

The emigration of Jews from the Soviet Union is not an objective of American foreign policy, The New York Times on Saturday quotes Kissinger as saying on the tapes to President Nixon. And if they put Jews into gas chambers in the Soviet Union, it is not an American concern. Maybe a humanitarian concern.

(58,724 posts)There was this satire site that posted a spoof article about Kissinger:
http://www.dailysquib.co.uk/world/3089-henry-kissinger-if-you-cant-hear-the-drums-of-war-you-must-be-deaf.html
It has this quote: Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people.
Which is often paired with that quote about money in various places as an actual Kissinger quote when it was really a parody.
If there is an actual source that shows where and when Kissinger said that line about controlling money, I have not seen it.
Kind of like the Smedley "racket" quote, and Truman on "hell".
I hear ya. I like things accurate. Less messy that way.

(4,775 posts)I grew up watching his grotesque and egotistical mug on the TV. Younger people need to know who the man is that Hillary consults for advice and vacations with. This is no joke nor empty smear, it's highly substantive, and goes to the heart of what's wrong with the Clintons.
